The name says it all - charming. The hotel is built with many fine details that give a very cozy atmosphere. The hotel is quite old and has probably been renovated several times, but the original atmosphere has been preserved. The location is perfect for sightseeing in Taipei as it is very close to the red line of the subway, which gives access to many attractions, and near Taipei 101, Taipei's famous landmark. The staff at the hotel is simply fantastic. They do everything they can to ensure that guests have a good experience. Sometimes there are free snacks and drinks and one day we were surprised with a free evening meal with wine. Taipei Charming City Hotel really gives value for money.

This is an average small hotel but it is comfortable and we’ve got all our needs. Breakfast is not lavish but enough to start your day and it is complimentary anyway. We love the coffee machine and the kids loves the free snacks that is available 24 hours. What’s also great in this hotel are the staffs that are so helpful. Especially the young gentleman at the reception (sorry, I forgot his name) He is always smiling and goes above and beyond. He is definitely an asset to the hotel. Location is also superb! Will definitely recommend!

Amazing location and easy to find. The lifts were a little small for a pushchair and luggage but it was ok. The room was a good size, the receptionist was nice. There was renovations happening in the reception area which wasn’t shared and I was concerned about noise but I couldn’t hear a thing in my room! The bed was comfy but the lights were a little tricky to figure out - they were controlled by a console that I wasn’t told about so had to call reception and ask about it and the console wasn’t too responsive. Otherwise, the hotel was good and the location really was fantastic!

Loved the free snacks and drinks available. Breakfast was even packaged if you wanted to take it with you. Only 5 mins walk from MRT station and easy connection to the train to/from the Airport. Twin Rooms were a good size and comfortable for 2 people.

Everything Location: near Xinyi-Anhe metro station , walking distance from Taipei 101 and a night market near by Room: comfortable and layout was good too. Separation of wet and dry area in bathroom was good Service: Friendly and accommodating staff Free snacks & coffee

Staff was very kind and super helpful - had a small issue with the sink : solutions were offered within minutes and the problem was fixed by the next day ! The breakfast was nice and the location convenient.

The staff are very accommodating and the location as well near at mrt station and walking distance to Taipei 101. Room is big and clean, and the breakfast is nice worth to book in this hotel I definitely book again in may next Taipei trip😊

The free soda's, coffee and snacks 24 hours a day is a nice little perk. Room had a sauna in it which was really nice.
